Orthopedic Nurse Manager

Due to a new orthopedic service, Community Medical Center, Falls City, NE is looking for a dynamic individual to provide coordination of care and oversight of the orthopedic program. The Orthopedic Nurse Manager is responsible for the oversight of the orthopedic outpatient clinics – scheduling patient appointments, verifying insurances, rooming patients, facilitating patient education and being a resource for staff. Ability to work collaboratively and cooperatively with an interdisciplinary and interdepartmental team to effectively evaluate and promote teamwork to optimize efficient and effective patient-centered care delivery. Qualified individuals must be a RN, BSN preferred, have a minimum of three years of clinical nursing and leadership experience, good organizational skills, problem solving skills, and initiative. The ability to work in a fast pace environment with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail, as well as the ability to effectively communicate with patients, staff and practitioners is a must. Orthopedic PA/APRN

Community Medical Center, Falls City, NE is adding a new Orthopedic Service and we are seeking a full-time Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner licensed to practice in the state of NE and KS to the team. The PA/APRN will work directly with the orthopedic surgeon in the clinics and operating room. Responsibilities include and not limited to surgical first assist, patient evaluation and education, H&P’s, consultation and reviewing test results, and hospital rounding. Travel to off-site facilities is required. Successful candidate must able to multi-task and have excellent interpersonal skills. Previous orthopedic experience is highly preferred. Orthopedic Clinic Tech

Community Medical Center, Falls City, NE is excited to announce that we will be adding a new Orthopedic Service and are currently taking applications for an Orthopedic Clinic Tech. This full-time position will be assisting in setting clinic dates, scheduling patients, verifying insurances, preparing patient charts, room patients, filing and communicating with the surgeon and nursing staff to ensure quality and smooth delivery of patient care. Applicant must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, have excellent organizational skills, the ability to problem solve and multi-task, good interpersonal and verbal skills to communicate with staff and patients, must have proficient computer skills and be detail oriented. Certified Nurse Assistant

Community Medical Center is seeking highly motivated Certified Nurse Assistants to join our outstanding team in assisting with the care of our patients. PRN shifts available. Job duties will include but not limited to taking vitals, answering call lights, housekeeping, providing assistance with personal care including bathing and dressing, and charting in the electronic medical records. Family Medicine Clinic Manager

We are seeking a dynamic individual to lead our Family Medicine Clinics. This position is responsible for the management and supervision of all operations of the Family Medicine Clinics including registration, patient scheduling, coding, transcription, billing, coordinating with practitioners to ensure their practice needs are being met and adequately staffed. Ensures that staff maintain competent in all areas of the clinic including quality improvement, lab testing, training, etc. to provide good patient care. Provides leadership and management to work collaboratively with the hospital departments to ensure a great patient experience. A minimum of an Associate Degree and three (3) years of previous experience in a healthcare setting and two (2) years’ experience as a supervisor is required. Housekeeper

Community Medical Center is looking for a hard-working, motivated individual to join our team as a Housekeeper. This is for a full-time evening shift position (flexibility on hours). Weekend (one in every eight) and holiday rotation required. The housekeeping associate cleans, sanitizes and maintains the appearance throughout the Hospital. Responsibilities include cleaning patient rooms, public areas, restrooms and offices while ensuring that proper infection control and safety procedures are followed. Community Medical Center has a PRN/casual position opening in its Dietary Department. We are seeking a positive and self-motivated individual to work as a team member to assist with cleaning, stocking, dishwashing, food preparation and food service. Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Community Medical Center is hiring ER experienced RN’s. Night shift hours available working from 7p-7a. Our Emergency Room is a Level IV Trauma Center equipped to take care of minor and major emergencies in Richardson County, NE and surrounding communities. Your primary assignment would be in the ER and with the “expectation to assist in coverage” of med-surg when needed. Complete assessment/reassessment of patient and document in medical record. Develop and implement plan of care based upon the assessment, diagnosis, and expected outcomes of patient. You will work with hospital employed Paramedics that assist our community 911 calls and 24/7 staffed Hospitalists who are ATLS certified in advanced trauma care. Graduate of school of nursing required. RN-Licensed in State of Nebraska. BLS, ACLS, TNCC, NRP and PALS/ENPC required (or receive 6 months after starting).
