Paramedic-PRN

Community Medical Center has an opening for a skilled PRN Paramedic. This position will provide clinical care to emergency room patients under the direction of the Emergency Room RN. Responds to 911 calls, assisting the Falls City Volunteer Ambulance Service. ALS transfers to higher level of care in coordination with FCVAS. Assist Med/Surg patients under the direction of the Charge Nurse. We offer 24-hour shifts, a competitive salary and benefit package. Successful candidate will have NE EMT-P license, ACLS, BLS, PALS, and PHTLS; obtain NRP within 6 months of hire. Must possess a valid driver’s license. Prefer 1 year experience with an ALS service. Successful candidates will possess a sense of autonomy as the only ALS responder working in conjunction with the local BLS squad for 911 and transfer calls. Medical Technologist

Community Medical Center, Inc. is hiring for a Medical Technologist. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing medical laboratory tests, procedures, experiments, and analyses to provide for diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease. Conduct chemical analyses of body fluids to determine presence of normal and abnormal components. Perform blood group, type, and compatibility tests for transfusion purposes. Analyze test results and track findings. Study blood cells, their numbers, and morphology. Perform EKGs, Holter monitors, and event recorders. Perform quality control studies to ensure accuracy of clinical data. Perform routine maintenance on laboratory instruments and equipment by checking functionality, calibrating instruments, and documenting data. Record any repairs, replacement, and maintenance in instrument logs, and maintain supplies. Maintain safety of patients and staff and assist in implementation and completion of Quality Assurance program. 40 hours/week and on-call, weekend, holiday rotation.
