Community Medical Center has a full-time position available in its Dietary Department. We are seeking a positive and self-motivated individual to work as a team member to assist with cleaning, stocking, dishwashing, food preparation and food service. Qualified individuals must have a high school diploma, cooking skills, the ability to use equipment, and excellent people skills. The hours vary and includes a weekend/holiday rotation. Registered Nurse – Med/Surg

Community Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurses to join its team. We have a variety of hours available, full time and PRN. These positions are on the med-surg unit with opportunities for obstetrics and emergency care as well.

Coder

Community Medical Center is looking for a Coder for their HIM Department. Duties would include review of medical records for both In-Patient and Out-Patient for accuracy and completeness. Responsible for abstracting and coding clinical data related to diseases, operations, procedures and therapies. Successful candidate will have an Associate Degree or a medical coding diploma. Will consider at least six months to one year coding experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. This is a full time position. If interested Apply here.

Health Information Management Technician

Community Medical Center has an immediate opening for a HIM Technician in their Health Information Management department. The candidate will be responsible for accurately transcribing physician dictations into specific, organized reports. The ideal candidate will have a vast knowledge of medical terminology, ability to operate word processing equipment, dictation and transcription equipment and other equipment as specified. Other duties include scanning, reporting, release of information, discharge analysis and other administrative tasks as directed. Minimum requirements are a high school diploma or GED, type at least 60 wpm to meet the demands of productive in the department, working knowledge of computer applications and six month healthcare experience. A combination of an Associate’s Degree or Certified Medical Transcriptionist and/or six months prior experience in a hospital/clinical setting highly preferred. Paramedic

Community Medical Center, Falls City, NE is a Critical Access Hospital in rural SE Nebraska. CMC has an opening for a skilled full-time Paramedic. We offer 24 hour shifts, a competitive salary and benefit package. Successful candidate will have a NE EMT-P license, ACLS, BLS, valid driver’s license and at least one year of experience in the field of pre-hospital EMS.
