When You Need Us,
We Are Here

Community Medical Center serves the residents of Richardson County in southeastern Nebraska and the surrounding areas.

We are a modern hospital, built in 2009 with additions to our medical specialist clinic and rural clinic in 2018. Our caring, compassionate and well trained staff members work together with your primary care provider to get you back on your feet as soon as possible.  We have acute inpatient services and skilled care services.

Our Emergency Department is open 24/7.

We have in-house laboratory, imaging and therapy services.

Meals are provided by our dietary staff. Guest meals available for the patient’s designated family members/caregiver.

Our visiting hours are 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily.

Do not visit if you are feeling ill or have respiratory symptoms.

Community Medical Center does allow patients to use Service Animals in the facility.
The service animal shall be under the control of its handler at all times while present in CMC facilities. The service animal’s handler must accept full responsibility for the service animal including but not limited to the following:

  • Maintaining control of the animal;
  • Properly disposing of excreta;
  • Appropriate vaccinations;
  • Grooming and cleanliness;
  • Temperament which is not disruptive to the care of patients and to the operation of the hospital;
  • Arranging for the care/accommodation of the service animal while visiting a patient care area in which service animals are contraindicated; and
  • Constant monitoring so that the service animal will not be left unattended.
  • Failure of the service animal’s handler to meet responsibilities for the service animal will require removal of the service animal from CMC facilities.

Please note – emotional support animals are not service animals as per CMC policy.
