Assistant Director of Surgery
Community Medical Center is seeking an Assistant Director of Surgery to work in partnership with the Director to provide leadership support to the Surgery Department and supervision of the Operating Room team. The Assistant Director will be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Responsible for training and educating staff to the perioperative standards of clinical care to meet the needs of the patient.
  • Assists with the development of policies and procedures that reflect current acceptable practice based on AORN standards and are consistent with regulatory agency requirements.
  • Collaborates with medical staff, surgery and anesthesia, to evaluate and facilitate improvement in Perioperative Services and promotes positive physician/staff relationships.
  • Demonstrates effective communication with staff, practitioners and patients.
  • Will provide nursing clinical care and functions, including on-call responsibilities.

Qualified individuals must be a Registered Nurse with a Minimum of 3 years’ experience as an OR Circulator. Thorough knowledge of AORN standards, BLS, NRP and ACLS certifications required. Please Apply here.

Credentialing and Reporting Clerk
Community Medical Center is seeking a detail-oriented individual to assist the Quality Improvement Manager with the credentialing of medical staff, maintaining policies and procedures and gathering data. This individual is also responsible for peer review files and databases and provides other administrative support. This is a full–time 40-hour per week position. Position qualifications include an Associate’s Degree in Business or related field preferred. Working with medical staff credentialing and medical staff office is highly preferred. Medical terminology is helpful. The individual must have knowledge of a variety of computer applications, with enhanced knowledge and use of Excel, able to take initiative and work independently; has the ability to understand rules and regulations; interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations; and analytical ability. Registered Nurse – Operating Room
Community Medical Center is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse to care for patients in the pre, intra and post-operative environment that can function independently as a circulating nurse and/or scrub nurse in the operating room in all surgical specialties. The RN will:

  • Assess, plan, and evaluate nursing care needs before, during, and after a surgical procedure.
  • Work closely with the surgical patient and the perioperative team.
  • Prepare the surgical environment for the patient and the procedure being performed.
  • Monitor, record and communicate patient condition as appropriate using computerized documentation systems.
  • Demonstrate critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work in a fast paced environment.
  • Follow the Standards of Perioperative Nursing Practice as set forth by the AORN (Association of perioperative Registered Nurses

Registered Nurse – Med/Surg

Community Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse to join its team. This is a full-time night shift position in med-surg with opportunities for obstetrics and emergency care as well.

Staff Accountant
We are seeking a detail orientated individual to join our Accounting team. This position provides accurate and current records for the assets, liabilities and financial transactions of the organization. Supports the Accounting Manager in financial operations to include bank reconciliations, journal entries, financial statements, reports and financial analysis. Assists with the implementation of various accounting procedures in compliance with hospital policies and procedures, local, state and federal laws and regulations. A Bachelor’s Degree in accounting is preferred, but will consider comparable work experience. 1-3 years accounting experience in a healthcare setting strongly desired. CPA preferred. Certified Nurse Aide
Community Medical Center has two full-time day shift Certified Nurse Aide positions available in our Med-Surg Department. We are seeking positive, self-motivated CNAs who will work as a team member and administer patient care under direct supervision, maintain patient chart documentation, assist with patient admission, dismissal or transferring process and obtain vital signs. Previous hospital experience and CNA certification preferred. High school graduate or GED preferred. The individual must also have their CPR certification. Apply here.

Dietary Aide
Community Medical Center has a full-time, 32-40 hour/week position available in its Dietary Department. We are seeking a positive and self-motivated individual to work as a team member to assist with cleaning, stocking, dishwashing, food preparation and food service. Qualified individuals must have a high school diploma, cooking skills, the ability to use equipment, and excellent people skills.
