Dr. Adam Streit is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon, specializing in treatment of sports injuries and total joint replacement. He received his bachelor’s degree of Mechanical Engineering from Kansas State University. He then completed medical school at Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences. Dr. Streit completed his orthopedic surgery residency through Doctor’s Hospital / Ohio University in Columbus, Ohio.
Since completion of his training, Dr. Streit has served active duty in the US Air Force, and also operated as an Assistant Professor at Saint Louis University hospital. Dr Streit provided orthopedic care for collegiate athletes at Saint Louis University, as well as many veterans and active duty military members at home and abroad.
After finishing his military service, Dr. Streit moved back home to southeast Nebraska, starting practice with OrthoMidwest. Dr Streit operates at Community Medical Center in Falls City, Sabetha Community Hospital in Sabetha, and Nemaha County Hospital in Auburn. He provides a range of orthopedic services, specializing in total joint replacement and treatment of shoulder and knee sports injuries.
Dr. Streit performs minimally invasive anterior total hip arthroplasty, as well as traditional hip surgery. Dr. Streit also offers a full spectrum of knee replacement techniques, including unicompartmental knee arthroplasty (partial knee replacement).
Dr. Streit resides in Humboldt, NE. In his spare time, he enjoys exercising and outdoor activities, including skiing, boating, hunting.
