Cassandra Munoz-Parsons

Cassandra is from the Verdon/Falls City area. She is the daughter of Silvano and LouAnne Munoz. She is the granddaughter of Judy Ramer and the late John Ramer.   Throughout her life she always knew she wanted to help others and leave a lasting impact on those around her. After taking certified nurses aide classes as a adolescent and gaining experience solidified her decision to become a nurse practitioner.  She graduated with her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in 2010. She then returned to University of Nebraska Medical Center to complete her Master of Science in Nursing in 2016 with a specialization of Family Nurse Practitioner. She has always had a passion for behavioral health. She then returned to school to obtain her Post Graduate Certificate as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from the University of Cincinnati graduating in December of 2022.  

Cassandra brings a wide variety of experience and skills to Falls City and the surrounding communities. This experience includes trauma/General surgery care, emergency room care, acute care, and primary care. She also received additional training in the treatment of HIV, Hepatitis C, and substance use disorder. She has been practicing as a Nurse Practitioner for 7 years.

Cassandra’s specific interests include treating addiction, mental health, and both HIV/Hepatitis C.

In her spare time, she likes spending time with family and friends. Her favorite activities include traveling, spending time at the lake, and reading. She is looking forward to leaving a lasting impact by increasing access to mental health services to Falls City and the surrounding communities. Cassandra and her husband Randy reside in Highland, Kansas.
