Community Medical Center, Falls City, NE is hiring for a Centralized Scheduler/ Prior Authorization Specialist position. The position will be responsible for completing accurate pre-registration, registration, and scheduling of hospital patients. Other duties will consist of verifying and documenting all insurance coverage, obtain pre-certifications, authorizations, answering any questions and explain policies clearly, verifying pre-authorization for exams, processing Point of Service collections and other miscellaneous duties. Previous experience in appointment scheduling, hospital registration or admitting experience in a health care environment is strongly preferred. Experience in customer service required. Experience working with insurance authorization departments and familiarity with medical terminology and medical diagnostic procedures strongly preferred. Full-time position with a great benefit package.
