Scholarships Available for Graduates of Richardson County High Schools

Community Medical Center’s Board of Directors Scholarships are awarded to graduates of any Richardson County high schools and are entering a two or four-year college majoring in a healthcare field. This scholarship is renewable for one year if the individual maintains a 3.0 or higher GPA and retains their major in healthcare.

2025 Scholarship Recipients

Kaitlyn Kirkendall

Kaitlyn Kirkendall, daughter of Jeremy and Laura Kirkendall was awarded a $1,000 scholarship. Kaitlyn graduated this May from Falls City High School. She plans to attend the University of Nebraska Omaha to complete nursing prerequisites. Upon completion of nursing prerequisites, Kaitly plans to transfer to the University of Nebraska Medical Center to obtain a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree with a goal of becoming a pediatric oncology nurse.

Annika Reschke

Annika Reschke, daughter of Brad and Kylee Reschke, was awarded a $1,000 scholarship. She graduated this May from Falls City Sacred Heart. Annika plans to attend Kansas State University and major in Health and Nutrition. She plans to apply to the nursing program through Wichita State University with a goal of becoming a labor and delivery nurse. Once established as a nurse, Annika plans to further her education by becoming a Women’s Health Advance Practice Registered Nurse and a Certified Nurse-Midwife.
