High School Scholarships


Community Medical Center Board of Directors Scholarship

The Community Medical Center Board of Directors is happy to announce for 2021 that applications are now open for two $1,000 high school scholarships. The scholarships are awarded annually to students who are graduating from a high school in Richardson County, Nebraska.

Scholarships will be awarded to those entering a two or four year college with a declared major in the healthcare field. This scholarship is renewable for one year if the individual maintains a 3.0 or higher GPA and retains their major in healthcare.

2020 SCHOLARSHIP WINNERS-  Kade Bredemeier and Lauren Nanninga

Lauren, daughter of Rod and Tara Nanninga graduated from Humboldt Table Rock Steinauer (HTRS) High School. Lauren attends the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and majored in Communication Sciences and Speech Disorders with a goal of applying to a master’s program and becoming a speech and language pathologist.

Kade, son of Jason and Mandy Bredemeier, graduated from Falls City High School. Kade attends Hastings College majoring in Secondary Education with a minor in Exercise Science. Upon graduating from Hastings College, he plans on continuing his education in Physical Therapy.

Both were awarded $1,000 Scholarships.
Community Medical Center wishes these young students and all those in higher education much success in meeting their goals!
