Looking Beyond the Horizon
Each patient’s life is precious with his or her own unique story. Healing is a calling and our stories are about connecting with people in need, young or old. This connection is often seen in the generosity we feel from those that have helped us carry on our mission over the year. Join our mission of compassion and giving with the CMC Foundation!

We all have opportunities to change the world… our world. Opportunities abound as Community Medical Center continues to expand and grow to meet the ever-changing health care needs of our community and country. The CMC Foundation was established to financially secure the success of these needs in providing superior care when it comes health!
Community Medical Center Foundation is a not-for-profit, 501 (c) 3 charitable corporation. Your gift may be general or for restricted use and may be in cash, stock, commodities, land or pledged income.
The Foundation can help identify medical equipment or health programs large or small, for which a contribution might be made. Prominent considerations include funds for:
- Nursing equipment upgrades
- Facility expansion
- Community health programs
- Low-income charity assistance
- Physician recruitment
- Health education scholarships
Memorials: After the passing of a loved one, families may choose to honor them with a memorial gift made in their name. This gift allows the loved one to be honored and remembered in our healing garden or on our donor wall. Additional opportunities may also be available.
Planned Giving: Planned giving opportunities enable individuals to arrange charitable contributions in ways that maximize personal objectives while minimizing the after-tax cost. There are a variety of planned giving options that help an individual fulfill their generosity while also providing tax benefits. Options of planned giving can include:
- Turn excess profits or estate values into charitable contributions or trusts
- Transfer land or assets to the hospital while keeping the income available for a surviving spouse or heirs
- Keep land in the family, but pledge income to charity
- Transfer the value of life insurance or other assets to charity
- Fund an annuity for charity
- Allow interest income to go to charity
Special Events: Annual Golf “FORE” Good Health golf tournament and Meet & Greet Fish Fry.
