Labor & Delivery

Community Medical Center offers two spacious labor-delivery-postpartum-recovery (LDRP) suites joining a viewable nursery. Offering full continuum obstetrics, delivering your baby is our job. You can stay in comfort in your private suite from the birth of your baby through dismissal.

Pampered with one-on-one nursing care, private whirlpool bath, infant security system, mother-baby care and family accommodations, Community Medical Center provides a superior experience for you and your loved ones.

Community Medical Center offers community services, free of charge, to expecting and new moms, including online nursery, Breastfeeding support, and childbirth education. During the final stages of labor physicians at CMC use innovative Electronic Fetal Monitoring to ensure safety during the late.

Breastfeeding

Free Breastfeeding Support Group is available for all expecting and breastfeeding moms. Infants and children are welcome to attend with their mother.Join our Certified Breastfeeding Educators for an informal gathering every Wednesday where we will share breastfeeding experiences and address concerns. Other infant/health related topics will also be discussed. A scale will be available for weighing your infant. No registration needed

Breastfeeding Support Group is held weekly at Community Medical Center every Wednesday 10:30 to 11:30 AM.

Childbirth Education

Free Childbirth Education classes are offered throughout the year. Education is provided by Certified Childbirth Educators to help expecting mothers gain knowledge in pregnancy, birth, and newborn care. Each Childbirth Education Sessions generally consists of four weekly classes lasting two hours each. Occasionally, an accelerated 1-day class may be scheduled. All classes are held at Community Medical Center.
