Community Medical Center– Emergency Medical Services (CMC-EMS) is a community oriented ambulance service that provides a variety of transport services including hospital to hospital Critical Care Transport, Advanced Life Support (ALS) intercepts with local volunteer ambulance squads and non-emergency medical transport.
CMC-EMS employs a full time staff of medical professionals each having years of pre-hospital emergency experience. Our ALS team members are Nationally Registered EMT-Paramedics with additional certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Basic Trauma Life Support (BTLS) or Advanced Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS). In addition the majority of our medical staff has obtained other nationally recognized certifications including Critical Care Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic (CCEMT-P).
CMC-EMS is fully equipped as a Mobile Intensive Care Unit and can be en route within minutes of a call. Along with our highly trained staff each unit will carry a Life Pack 12 (with 12 Lead, transcutaneous pacing, Sp02 and EtCO2 monitoring and automated B/P capabilities), intravenous infusion pumps, portable ventilator, advanced airway supplies (ET, needle and surgical cricothyrotomy), a full compliment of emergency cardiac medications and a multitude of other advanced life support equipment and patient care supplies.
