Clinical Information Systems Specialist

Community Medical Center, Falls City, Nebraska seeks a full-time Clinical Information Systems Specialist to collaboratively work with the Information Technology Department and Clinical Administration teams to assist with the planning, implementation and support of the electronic medical record (EMR) and other relevant clinical and business applications. The position is primarily responsible for clinical process transformation for the development and implementation of the electronic medical record (EMR), but may also include other various IT related duties supporting such applications.   Qualified individuals should be a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse currently licensed in the state of Nebraska and have a minimum of five years experience in healthcare or Health Information Technology.  The position requires excellent verbal and written communication skills, the ability to multi-task and establish working relationships with all levels of staff, management, physicians, and ancillary hospital departments.  Understanding and experience with EMR/HIS implementations and/or MEDITECH applications preferred. IT Systems Administrator

Community Medical Center, Falls City, Nebraska is seeking a full-time Systems Administrator to join our Information Technology team.   This position is responsible for the provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems server and networking hardware and software and related infrastructure.  The position is primarily responsible for maintaining the facility server environment.  Ensuring optimal server performance and uptime and application availability.  Overseeing the addition and removal of server hardware and software instances and assisting the director in planning and implementation of new equipment and software services.   Qualified individuals should have a minimum equivalency of two years college-level coursework in computer science, information technology or a related field.  Previous experience with Windows Server operating systems, basic switch programming and networking fundamentals preferred. Certified Surgical Technologist

Community Medical Center is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist to join its team. The position is responsible for providing perioperative patient care through use of equipment and instrumentation. The position functions as a scrub assistant to the physician performing operative and invasive procedures by providing technical assistance during surgical cases. This is a full-time position, 32 hours per week with the ability to flex to additional hours. On-call rotation required with the ability to arrive within 30-minutes. Minimum qualifications include graduate of a Surgical Technologist program and current certification as a Surgical Technologist by the National Board of Surgical Technology & Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) or National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT).

RN Circulator


Community Medical Center, Falls City, Nebraska seeks a full-time Registered Nurse to care for patients in the OR. Circulating duties required with the flexibility to scrub as well. The RN Circulator position provides direct patient care to pediatric through geriatric patient populations. Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates the care of patients undergoing surgical procedures. Communicates with surgeon and/or anesthesiologist continuously and as needed about patient condition. Assists with procedures. Assists with maintaining equipment and inventory. Participates in performance improvement activities.  Must be a licensed Registered Nurse, orthopedic experience is highly desired. Director of Physician and Practice Services

Community Medical Center is looking for a dynamic and talented individual to join our senior leadership team as the Director of Physician and Practice Services.  Position is responsible for overseeing the organization’s various clinics and groups, including two rural health clinics, our orthopedic practice, our rotating specialty clinic, and our ER/hospitalist group.  The Director will work closely with the CEO and our physicians and practitioners to ensure that communication, relationships and integration are strong and that practitioner needs are responded to in a timely manner.  Director will work with clinic managers, practitioners and staff to ensure operations run effectively, to establish and reach goals, and to transform practices better to meet new standards and care models.  Director will take a lead role in establishing and implementing a medical staff development plan, including efforts to recruit and retain physicians, to engage practitioners as clinical partners and leaders, and to support the effective functioning of the medical staff.  Director will also help the hospital maintain relationships with independent medical practices and allied health practices.  Position reports to the CEO and will be expected to attend monthly medical staff meetings and occasional evening governing board meetings.

 

A well-qualified individual would be a licensed clinical professional with at least 5 years of professional work or possess a degree in a business-related field with several years of responsible health management experience.  We are looking for someone with a successful track record with physician relations, practice management and organizational leadership.    Individual should have a positive attitude, excellent interpersonal skills, a customer-service orientation, strong follow-through, the ability to handle tense situations without escalating conflict, personal integrity, a collaborative approach, and the ability to assume projects and create direction with minimal supervision.  Successful familiarity with physician recruitment, process improvement, and rural settings would be helpful.   Qualified candidates may submit a resume and letter of interest to hr@cmcfc.org
